The Maywood Bike Access Improvement project is adjacent to the Los Angeles River at the Slauson Avenue Bridge in the City of Maywood. The park provides an access point to the county bike path which extends to Long Beach.
Masonry seat walls, natural landscaping using river rocks and boulders, and a native plant palette provide bicyclists and neighborhood users with a place to sit back and view the local flora and fauna. Other park amenities include a decorative fence and entry gates designed and built by North East Trees in conjunction with local artist Brett Goldstone.
