Your photos become data in a global effort to help understand and protect urban biodiversity, including nature at Elephant Hill! Meet people protecting and restoring Elephant Hill from threats like off-roading.

Earth Day @ Augustus Hawkins Nature Park
The Community Climate Action Day - Los Angeles, taking place on Saturday, April 26th, 2025, at Augustus F. Hawkins Nature Park, will feature hands-on activities like tree planting and care, composting, and a resource fair. This event is a collaborative effort involving the California Climate Action Corps, Council District 9, and North East Trees. The event aims to build a greener and healthier South LA by celebrating Earth Day with these sustainable practices.
