Nursery and Wildfire Resilience Manager  

Position Overview:

We are seeking a leader to oversee the full spectrum of nursery operations and open space conservation. The Nursery and Wildfire Resilience Manager (NWRM) works with the Design and Construction Department leadership and oversees North East Tree’s nursery operations while ensuring efficient plant production and resource optimization. This important member of our Ascot Hills Park Native Plant Nursery Team leads nursery events, workshops, volunteer programs and represents the organization at meetings to further its mission. This position plays a vital role in advancing habitat restoration and strengthening urban forestry efforts throughout Los Angeles.

Urban Forestry Crew Supervisor

Position Overview:

The Crew Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily field operations, managing work crews, ensuring safety and efficiency, and coordinating logistics for NET’s Urban Forestry work and projects. After at least one year of experience, at the discretion of their Manager and Department Director, a Crew Supervisor may be eligible for a level 2 Supervisor wage increase and more responsibilities, such as overseeing larger-scale projects and ensuring quality control across operations. This role requires leadership, problem-solving, and strong communication skills to support project success. When other positions become available, internal candidates are strongly considered for advancement.

Urban Forestry Youth Crew
